YOUTH SPORTSFEST ACTIVITY UNITE GROUPS TO SUCCESS
Over 300 young people rallied around their groups and
played hard and well to bring about a most successful annual activity of our youth ministry last Tuesday, September 9.
338 officially registered and three dozen others joined
in the all day activity of fun fellowship and serious competition.
Eschewing organized sports like basketball and volleyball
because they invlove a smaller number of players with a measure of skill, our sportsfest games involves greater participants
with no skills required. What is needed is gruop cooperation and encouragement.

ably assisted our youth director Pastor Jun Lumagbas in the successful handling of the day's affair.

Family - "The children of
thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee." (Psalm 102:28)
In the usual way, children are born into a family, and
in turn they have children and grandchildren. In this way families continue from generation to generation.
We do not know what will happen to succeeding generations.
We can set up life insurance in monetary trusts, but our grandchildren may misuse the money. We can set aside a piece
of land, but our grandchildren may not even want to live on it. We can provide for them education, but succeeding generations
may turn their learning against the ideals of the family.
The most important way to protect future generations
is to help children and grandchildren love God, honor Him and desire to pass that attitude on their
children and granchildren. This one supreme legacy can then guide the way of other family legacies and give
to them more important meaning.

UP AND COMERS..
this SEPTEMBER 25th, Thursday will be the quizbowl of the youth ministry at Bible
Baptist Church Cebu City so frontliners (including me hehehe) get set and ready for it.. Topics covered will be the books
of I and II Samnuel.. Questionairres and reviewers are given by each group to study about..
There will be I think 6 per group to be frontliners
for the quizfest. Reviews are held starting Tuesday, September 16 to up to next week at 6pm at the church auditorium so whoever
is involved, just contact your main leader.. Frontliners attendance is a must..
